Turkey Day in Wyoming-Part One

We had so much fun in Wyoming over the Thanksgiving holidays. And for the record, the wind DID NOT BLOW ONE DAY of the FIVE days we were there. I am not sure what was happening, we just kept waiting for it. The weather was actually very pleasant the entire time, so it made our stay that much more enjoyable.

Abby was able to go up to Wyoming a few days earlier than us, as Grandpa came down to go to a Bronco game with Blake. Blake scored some tickets from an old co worker at Amgen, so my dad came down to partake in the "most unbelievable" seats. (More on that later) So Abby headed up to Casper with grandpa on his way home and apparently had the best time being there all by herself. She didn't even want to talk to me on the phone. No Fair! It was super weird having her gone as Abby and I spend every waking moment (and most nights as well, since she loves sleeping by me) together. But it was fun for her to do this and I got a lot done with only one child home those two days.

The second night we were in Casper we went downtown to the Tree Lighting. It was a tad bit disappointing as I expected more lights, but the kids were thrilled and got to sneak a peak at Santa who arrived in a convertible. Apparently we needed to get there about 2 hours in advance to get in line to Sit on Santas lap. With 5 kids under the age of 6 and Fiesta Mexican Dip and Diet Coke waiting back at Grandmas we opted not to wait in line. The picture are from this evening. Mom and Brett stayed at home and took care of Baby Logan.
