Wow, I really have neglecting my blog...I am determined to keep up with it better in 2010, as my kids love reading it ( I am not sure if anyone else reads it anymore or not)...since Facebook has hit big, it seems like I have been putting more pictures on that then keeping up with my blog. However, I still love blogging because of the journaling aspect, so I am going to try and be better this year..
We have been very busy since my last post, with the holidays, programs, family visiting. In addition, I was lucky enough to be called as the Young Women President in our ward!! Very exciting and completely overwheleming. Lucky for me, we have a fantastic group of young women and I get to serve with some great women. So that has been taking up quite a bit of time in the last couple of months.
We had a wonderful Christmas and New Years. As our kids get older, Christmas morning gets more and more fun and exciting. Maycee was so cute as she realized that she had more than one present to herself! Britton was estatic about his bronco sweatshirt and mini football helemts! This kid is easy to please!! Abby and Maycee got pretty much the same things (to avoid any fights) except for Abby did get a pink razor scooter which she was very excited about. After we opened presents I fixed the traditional scones, eggs, and orange julius. This is a tradition I had as a kid, and I have been determined to keep it in our family, as Christmas would not seem complete without scones. We got to spend a lot of time together as a family which was great. Blake worked from home the week after Christmas, so was around to have lunch with us, and even skipped out early one afternoon to see Alvin and the Chipmunks with the kids and I.
I am very sad that the past two weeks are done with. It was so nice to have quality time together and be able to sleep in, stay up late, and have no schedule. Back to the grind!!
